Thank you.

The discs are something dad upgraded when he was building it. The front end came from 74-79, not sure exactly which year. The 74 year model parts work with it. He pulled the steering gearbox from the same truck I think though the PS pump is a 95 as is the ZF trans. The truck is a mutt for sure, but that allows me to go mild custom (like the wheel and interior) with some things and not feel guilty about it. Most people that approach me out in the wild think it's stock until they look deeper.

Been a minute since I did an update so here goes. The exhaust manifold (300 i6) cracked clean in half and had to be replaced. I managed to break a tab on the intake putting it back together, but my neighbor was able to weld up the tab. He is a welder by trade. I also shredded a rear axle bearing. No pics of those repairs as it was old parts out, new in. I have also been working on the interior some more getting it closer to what I consider done. The glue (3M Super 90) let go on the headliner. I tried using more and it held for another couple of months. I had to use something else so I got the DAP adhesive that I know is heat resistant and redid the headliner for the third time. It will stick this time. During the upholstery process I realized that I was short on the perforated white vinyl so I switched gears and used some red instead. I bought 15 yards of red to ensure it would all match and have used it for everything I recovered so far. I'll call it a happy accident as I think it looks better. I made the back part of the headliner and the top trim ring from hardboard sourced from a local upholstery supply where I get my vinyl. I needed the trim ring to hide the rivets holding on the front clips. The sun visors were sewed up by a friend of mine and there is a shot of what I did for insulation since some have asked about it on the forum. This makes a world of difference in sound and temperature control. The dark stuff is fiberglass and the white insulation came in boxes shipped with our Home Chef meals. I ended up using that white insulation throughout the truck pretty much and it works great.

I also was able to get the center console built that has been designed in my head for a while. The spot next to the cup holders is for my cell phone and has a wireless charger under the vinyl. I'm not entirely happy with fitment yet, but I ran out of time this weekend to fine tune it.

The next thing will probably be the kick panels and speaker box for behind the seat. I've decided to not go too crazy with the audio in there, but it has to sound nice.
