I agree about the Denso, but I have the 2WD truck, and I do not want the extra hassle of grinding a little frame away.

So I went on rock auto to look at the TYC version previously mentioned on this forum.

Well lo and behold, rock auto had some ACDelco brand new starters for $99.00 closeout, no core charge, so I ordered one of those.

What? My Denso went in with no grinding of the frame at all. Is it because of the radius arms on a 2WD?

Same here. Must be a 2WD thing as the genuine Denso I installed in my 4WD truck fit well. No cutting, grinding or modifying of any sort.
