My 2019 F250 CCSB Lariat 6.2 has the under hood insulation.
No plow package

Nope, I have a 2019 F-450 XLT w/Snow Plow pkg - No Insulation

My 2020 Lariat does not have hood insulation. My 2015 mid grade Ram has it. Go figure!

You guys made me really curious, so I went out to check mine. No insulation. My truck is 2019 F350 CCLB STX diesel, with engine block heater, supplemental heater and dual HD alternators. No snow plow prep, but has camper package.

Reports seem quite consistent... hood insulation present in 17-18 model years, and hood insulation thrifted out in 19-20 model years. Some model year 19s were built in calendar year 18, so reporting build dates for 2019 model year trucks might help resolve a production cut off date.

My 2019 F350 6.7 Platinum has the hood insulation. Also have snow plow package and supplemental heat.

2017 F-350 xl reg cab 6.2

Have the hood insulation. I also know the dealer didn't take or add anything to the truck as it was a special order.

This is in southern California as well. May be area specific, but more likely cost cutting, just like the front driveshaft is no longer painted.
