I was watching him a few years ago and kept thinking-- I haven't seen this movie yet and expected him to burst out in comedy-- but he never did-- so I sat back and enjoyed his music. I saw him live at worlds of fun in 77-78-- (i think) when he came out in an Egyptian costume and roller skates-- He was funny.

I tried to watch "The Jerk" last night, but I would have had to pay to rent it, so some day I will just buy the DVD and own it.

It amazes me, some actors/actresses that are not only acting talented, but so musically inclined as well. So.. When did they have all of the extra time to learn this stuff?

I'm really struggling to learn to play guitar, and I don't know yet if what I do on the guitar is considered "Being able to play Guitar" yet. I am not certain that I will ever get there, but my teacher says he sees improvement each week, but I am not seeing it.

I agree on the talent thing you mentioned Curtis. Some people just have unbelievable talent in several areas. Even those with great talent in one area amaze me. I follow a muzzleloading forum and there is one gunsmith who builds fantastic firearms. He is also extremely knowledgeable about guns from the time frame. He does engraving, wire inlay, and carving and all are phenomenal. He also is capable of building may of the parts from scratch. His pieces are true works of art. The other thing he is a teacher of the process and posts many tutorials on how he does stuff step by step.

Some people who have talent in some areas--- I have a vast wide knowlege of several topics-- but most of the time when I make something-- it is a failure-- maybe not totally- but its never where I want it. Maybe I comprimise to easily? Maybe my give a poop factor wanes? Maybe I just suck-- Who knows? I am an excellent planner- just not one who executes well.

Yeah, I get the being really good at one thing, or an expert in the field, especially if that one thing really, really interests them. I am a Jack of many trades, I consider myself decent at many things, but I haven't found anything yet that I want or feel the need to know absolutely everything about. But if that time ever comes, I will try to find a way to make that into a career.

What blows my mind is the number of entertainers that can pick up a guitar, or drum sticks, or pretty much anything. And play very well. One example is Will Farrell.

It would be a nice weekend to use the camper, maybe a little chilly during the days, but good sleeping.

I was thinking this morning as my alarm clock was going off, that today was going to be a perfect day to use a sick day and do nothing.

I was wrong.. I still has to come to work no matter what.

Was a shame, what if you catch that pandemic? Still off to work? No way to know without those tests!

Was I sick? no.. just lazy. I have no symptoms, and feel pretty good other than some ackey joints from getting older. Same ones I have had from previously punishing my body in the past.
