Was thinking of changing the siding altogether to something maintenance free until I seen some of the prices...lol

Might be hard to beat your current upkeep costs. Might plastic siding buckle in the weather? I see it all the time down here, looks terrible.
wasn’t this bad, but quite noticeable from the road.

That was likely created because the nails holding it were driven too tight..

Makes sense, no room to expand as the temperature changes. Was a fast installation so the builders could meet a deadline, I wonder.
