A lot more people coming in and looking at new mowers and tractors. We had 2 people drop off stuff for us to work on so it's slowly picking up , once it gets a little warmer and dryer I think we will be a lot of business. I am working on opening and closing 120 work orders to cover putting together the Stihl equipment. We have 2 more weeks till the grand opening.

Actually your busy season should be when it wet. The farmers can not get in the fields when it wet so it makes sense to get equipment to the shop. That way the they are not losing time twice. Same for the construction guys. The landscapers I think they work in anything.

Actually got to do some more clearing yesterday. Today I am going to troubleshoot the lights on the Mazda,

The new front rotors for the Benz arrived yesterday and the new ambient air sensor should arrive today. I went ahead and ordered the missing front windshield moulding. I still want to replace the spark plugs and the fuel filter and that should finish that car up and I won't have to worry about it for a while. I ordered the new AC stuff for the Suburban yesterday. I'm not taking the chance of the AC not working good on the way down to Disney World. If it goes out and the wife gets hot it would not be a happy trip to the happiest place on earth, at all. Happy wife, happy life.

Oh good it's raining again, I was beginning to worry that the mud might dry up.

Talking about the race at Atlanta or the one at Daytona. I know Daytona was a mess there at the end, and I was wandering how they would run at Atlanta with the changes. Was planning to watch it too, but a cousin and her kids were in town for a visit. Her husband has had the family in Japan for several years for his job, first time I've had a chance to see them since they left. Figured that was a little more important than the race. I think his current contract is over next year, if he re-ups like they want to, I might have to go visit them in a few years. Heck by then her kids might be able to act as translators for me.

Not much of a hot rod, but I'm sure it will be a hot ride come this summer. Seriously though, Thanks! Got a long ways to go before it'll be much to look at, but I'm going to take my time doing it. We're just glad to have it back on the road.

Once I got some other stuff sorted, I'm going to try to either adapt those regulator to the bumpside doors, or cut them up and modify the bumpside regulators to mount a window motor. Got to go through a security checkpoint getting into work and between manual transmission, traffic, manual window cranks, and an ID badge it's a juggling act, and I'm not too good at juggling. Hoping they might make summers a little easier, at least until I can do like CheifM and replace the nonexistent AC system.

When you get done with that, want to come down and give my truck a shot? Turn signals don't work, probably the switch because bulbs and wires are good, just haven't wanted to pull the steering column apart yet to investigate. Also when ignition is in ACC and Hazards are on, electric fuel pump (for Holley EFI) runs in sequence with lights flashing, but it doesn't do it when the key is in off, on or with engine running. Once again haven't felt like investigating further and just don't use hazards until I do. Pains of owning an old vehicle with semi-questionable history, it's worth it though.

Not sure how far you're going with that, but I replaced the full AC system in a 96 Probe I had. WOW! That was the best auto AC I've ever been around. $500 car that served me great while it lasted, unfortunately once the miles started catching up it just wasn't worth the money to fix. Wish I'd had other reliable transportation at the time and could have spent the money to fix it right.

Tell me about it! I'm hoping it won't rain me out of working on the truck this weekend. If all goes well I should have the old exhaust removed, new headers installed and ready to deliver to exhaust shop next week. Not sure that I'll have a place out of the weather to wrench though.

The race at Atl sucked follow the leader. Grandstand maybe 50%. More crashes 9n pit road.
sound like either a bad switch, bad ground ir most likely Po just grabbed power from any source. Do you have a known good switch. They are not that expensive. We all have box on the porch diease. Mine from Rock Auto, EBay and Amazon.
My lights were simple 6 bad bulbs. That ok because the flat bed will have LEDs. If it every stops raining or 25° I cut the lumber for it. It will be 6 x 8.

It took me 20 minutes to get on base yesteday. Used the Watson blvd gate. When I got there traffic was back up to Napa 2 light changes later back to the credit union.
i thought get the oil change and tire rotation done at Firestone vs dealer would be cheaper not sure now. 85.00.
