Is the other dealer the LS dealer I think out by the airport. When I came up to visit had to get a part from them. Was not impressed. The shop is 2 bay. Very small. Check the owners manual before you change fluids, some cars have lifetime transmission fluid and no dipstick.
Pete glad you found a tank. Andy never got back with me, for that matter he had ot sent me my invoices yet. If it not raining or really muddy he is moving dirt.
I put out a 100# of grass seed, skidded a few logs to the mill, cleaned up around the mill. I did not realize how much I cut last Saturday. The computer came in for tge Mazda at least it starts for a few seconds. M9re troubleshooting and asking for help on the Mazda truck forum.
They talk bad about all of the other dealers around here, not really one more than the others. If you have people wanting to bring other brands of tractors here to be serviced that tells me we will be just fine.
There are a few other dealers like Kubota, Bobcat, Branson.
I ordered most of the parts for the daughters car this morning. Still need to get spark plugs and just pick up 10 qts of oil.
I have the chicken wings defrosting and getting excited about the race. Raining on and off so it's a good day to stay inside, watch the race and chill out.
40 days till vacation!!
Went to the mall yesterday and got a new pair of shoes for vacation. I also got a rain jacket and then I left it at home this morning, go figure.
This will be our first full week of being open, can't wait to see how it goes.
Yesterday went pretty well. We had 2 people come in for a lawn mower service and we are picking up a tractor for repair this morning. The parts people had some customers and a couple of people came in looking to buy mowers and tractors. We had another delivery of new mowers and a gator come in and we had some transfers of equipment from other stores. Ordered almost 2 grand worth of welding and cutting equipment for the shop because the first mower job that came in the guy wants the deck repaired and we had nothing.
After thinking about it and talking with the wife we are going to take the Suburban to Florida. It is the most comfortable and has the most space for the drive down. I am going to replace the AC compressor, orfice tube and dryer before we go, it gets very cool but not cold like it should. I am also going to do and oil change and chassis lube. The parts for the daughter car start arriving today so I have to work that into the schedule too.
It cold an misty down here right now. The Mazda started today and idled good cid not test drive it but had good throttle response. Now on to minor stuff like none of the rear lights and rt front turn signal workings. The front one is a connection issue. Some time I need to replace the headlight switch.
One of 2 things or both. There was a code stored or the duct from the MAF to the throttle body .
Clearing codes is strange you disconnect negative the press the brake pedal for for seconds.
From what I found out on the Mazda truck forum these trucks will not run not run right unless everything from filter to TB is in place. At first I just stabbed that duct in place. It started but had high idle as I tightened the clamps the idle came down to 750.
Got to find out why I have no rear lights. Need to put new wipers on it, then it will be drivable super squirrely with no bed. The only place I am going to drive it is to the land so I can cut the 4x4 and 2x 8 for the flatbed. Wil need to order Leds for tail, turn, brake, back up and tag lights may get some side marker lights. For now I just use stock and wire ties. Eventually it will have tie down, stake pockets and side bodies
I have my own desk and computer
I may be sent to a secret location for a secret machine to do touch up paint work
The room is done, I knocked out the pony wall. Ill post up some pictures.
The girl and I have started on the hallway now, then the master bathroom and main room will be done....... scraping ceilings sucks.
