Yes I have been very busy. My boss and I are going to get along just fine because like me he likes things nice and clean and organized. We put up 3 sheets of peg board yesterday. The Stihl owners manuals were put in clear ziplock Stihl bags and then we hung them on the peg boards. All the poles are up for the fence, Now they need to install the top rails and then the fencing. Stihl has the showroom displays done, now they are now stocking the shelves. We got in our first shipment of lawn mowers yesterday morning.
well. had to peel some paint. paint reacted. bull****. oh well. its done
Sick of it. Im on my own timeline. But things at work are good. I like this job. Foreman has put a damper on some of our moods as of late, but we know why. oh well. I do my job. pictures to come of this stuff soon. I really like this line of work.
I don't need an IRA and I didn't roll it over. I just paid the early withdraw fees and told them to send me a check. I still have my civil service retirement starting in October next year, then myTSP and Social Security later on. Considering driving the Suburban down to Orlando for vacation next month. Not as nice as the Maserati but there is a ton more room. My wife likes laying down in the 3rd row seat and taking a nap. Another shipment of mowers came in yesterday. I have a feeling today is going to be super busy, just a feeling.

Good evening Georgia, Stephan, Hugh and Jacob. Been a while I stopped in last due to family things and way too busy for a retired person.
Stephen a quick read tell me you are in the new Digs and getting setup. All Is going well?
Hugh I take it someone is "building" somewhere they shouldn't!
Howdy Jacob and they would have called it play if it were fun and not work. LOL
Well the weather here had been very cold up until this week and 50's to 73° today. Bet Ma Nature and her raging hormones make us pay next week.
Remember tomorrow is the weekend eve and party responsibly or I want videos! LOL
Hey Rod!!
Yes I am working at the new store as we are getting everything ready to go for the opening.
The turf adapter for the 2 post lift came in yesterday so I got that uncrated and installed. I added oil to the lift and got it working but I still have to adjust the cables. The zero turn mowers are shipped in metal shipping crates and come stacked. After lunch I unstacked them and removed all the shipping materials. I installed the rollover bars, seat adjusters and checked the oil levels. Now I need to add a splash of fuel, put the battery ground cable on and pull them off the shipping crates. The fence guys are as slow as pond water, they finally have some fence up but they are not very fast.
Heading to the Cartersville store this morning to pick up my 4 wheeler, some tools out of my tool box and pick up some supplies that came in for our store. I also have to turn in my uniforms.I will have to make one more trip sometime in the next 2 weeks or so to get my tool box. I was using 2 1/2 tanks of fuel in a week in the the Suburban when I worked in Austell. I have driven it all week and used only half a tank, I am loving it.
Rod they have already bulit what the think is the property line is 15 ft from the pins. When we ran the strings it goes across his drive way. He may have another problem his house maybe to close to the line. County requires 30 ft. I see a privacy fence on part of that line. Depending on how much we have to adust the line it will be expensive for him.
Mean while I have another day of cleaning the yard "piddling". Hugh I know the feeling about property line issues had the some of the same problems when we sold my mother-in-law's house and the butthead that was living behind her. He decided to try to move her fence about 5 feet. Needless to say a major PITA. Glad I knew where the property pins were hidden. Still cost me to have it surveyed just to make the buyer happy.
Pete
I paid my grading guy to cover up the hole the dug that half and half they were throwing stuff in. If I found it 2 years ago I would reported it. It going to be expensive for him. Because I am going to be a #$÷= hole about, cause it looks like about 15 ft @ 1500 ft is a 1/2 acre. I have to call the land company and surveyors
We got in our first shipment of tractors in today!! Throwing in a splash of fuel in the zero turns and taking them off the shipping crates. I picked up the 4 wheeler from Cartersville this morning and a ton of supplies. My truck was loaded down coming back. The fence guys seem to be working pretty good today. The wife and kids stopped by for a look and she gave me the name plate she ordered for my desk!! It's coming together. The only issue we ever had with property lines was my late father in law put a storage barn real close to the property line. The other guy put a mobile home pretty close to the line so nothing was ever said. There was no way to ever move the shed so glad it worked out and now it all belongs to someone else.
