If your stabilizer has too much pressure in it, it can do as he said. Brand new it might push a little, but after its broken in it'll be perfect. Mine never pushed, my neighbors did, after about 500 miles he said it completely went away. I'm still a firm believer in the single being the best route you can go.
Curious - is your suspension stock? What LBS are you running on the unit?
I ordered one this morning from Amazon. I want to swap out the stock shocks with some Fox 2" which was the main reason I did not order the FX4 package. Figured i would use that money and put some good shocks on it. No plans to lift level drop or anything else. Truck looks awesome to me just the way it is. Someday prolly install an aftermarket track bar but not any time soon.
Coming from my old 2006 dodge this truck is light years from that. I need to read the manual to figure out how to use everything. And I want to turn off that darn adaptive steering or whatever it is that slightly shakes the steering wheel every time I do a lane change. I really hate that.

My ATS came in, took a couple months. Stage3 was friendly and sent reminders but didn’t answer my question on what fox 2.0 shocks should I use on my truck with heavy service front springs. I assume they have a different rate and sit a good half inch or so higher.

Anyone know? I dont want to highjack the thread.
Joe, You sould be fine using the Fox Shocks for 0-1.5in of lift. That's what I did and I have a 1.5in level kit in my truck. Curious if anyone feels differently.
I did my single about 3 weeks ago, just the pitman would not budge it, had to spray some blaster on it then heat it,,. Popped right out using the puller without even having to tap it. My fox gave me a pretty good left pull after install, after purging about 1 second of the charge. It’s perfect
For ATS install are there any tricks or precautions to take, guys that have done it themselves?
None. I used blue loctite on pinch bolts. And it's almost necessary to have a helper to hold the steering wheel at lock to get the 1/8" measurement they want, simply turning it yourself does not max it at lock.
Maybe I'm missing something here, but I'm puzzled as to the 'new' IFP 2.0 single stabilizer. I've seen pictures where the arm end comes with the necessary bushings, spacers and bolt as a simple replacement to the Motorcraft OEM one. Other pictures I've seen are of just the stock shock; no hardware. I ordered one from Amazon just last week. All I got was the raw shock. The frame end is straightforward; its the arm end that puzzles me.
I pulled to OEM one off thinking that I can just remove the bolt, etc but the end is tapered for about a 5/16" or 8MM wrench and not sure I can get enough torque on that thing to get it off without bending or breaking something. Frankly don't know if that assembly even comes off.
Am I missing something or should I continue to try to get the old hardware off the OEM to put on the new shock?

you are missing the hardware, package, the Fox S.S. comes with everything you need. I don’t believe the stock tapered bolt comes out of the shock.
Yeah I think I got the universal fit version and not the Ford SD specific -001 version. The outer box clearly states Ford SD SS 985-24-001. So don't know if Fox is putting wrong parts in the wrong box or someone forgot to put the hardware kit in the box. Regardless back to Amazon it goes and I'm placing my order elsewhere.
