Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 50.3, climbing fast, clear and sunny. The "Children" were wide awake at 0444 this morning and making sure no one else was sleeping. They are now all stretched out in the sun in the back yard taking naps.
Charlie, the Coleman was hanging with some other lanterns in the back of a junk shop in town with a $30.00 price tag on it. It was silver - Chrome and looked old so I looked for the date on the bottom. I should have just picked up it up and brought it home. I may make a special trip back to get it today. Curiosity got the better of me so I did a search last night and I saw a number of them at $195+ on E Bay. None of those were Silver or chrome though and it got me to thinking. I collect guns, not lanterns so I thought I'd better ask an expert.

That's a good price.
A new "multi fuel" coleman will set you back $54.
So pick it up, and shoot some pics.
I'll help you figure it out.
There is quite a collector crowd for Colemans.
The right lantern can turn a pretty nice profit.
I only have one stainless coleman besides the 1017 one. They are getting hard to find.
If you don't want it, I'll buy it from you, and pay for shipping, as long as you don't have it wander all over the country like the boat parts
LOL
Ordered a box (40 count) of Folgers Coffee Pack Filters. (Filters with coffee stuffed inside). Great for taking camping and throwing in the campfire and stove top coffee pots.
Anyway, Amazon said they didn't expect arrival until May 24th. Then yesterday I got an email saying the shipment date had been moved up until Yesterday. Today I got an email from FedEx. Yep - they are coming FedEx from Northern Cali. - about an 8 or 9 hour drive from here. FedEx is saying they will be here Thursday. We'll see if they arrive before they turn into worm food.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got home from a YCSA board meeting just a little bit ago. Was going to go out and replace a rail mount on the boat. Nothing is that simple I guess. Screws on the old mount are spinning and not backing out. I'll deal with it tomorrow. Otherwise not a bad day. Got a lawn mowed, 2 cars washed and waxed, the skim line on the boat removed and the boat wash and waxed.
Charlie, I stopped by the junk store and they are closed on Tuesdays. I'll have to go in in the morning.
