I’d say it’s a mix. We eat a lot of chicken also. We just bought beef until I got my cow elk in December 2017, and then my deer this November. Now we just use the elk/venison to replace whatever we would have used beef for. If I run out we’ll buy beef, but I’m hoping to get one animal a year hunting if possible. I enjoy hunting, and the meat is healthier for you.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Home for a few minutes then headed back to the hospital. Warden will be there all night with my mother. Hoping we will be able to bring mother home tomorrow, but that remains to be seen yet.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got mom home from the hospital today. She has to have a PICC line with an antibiotic pump to continue fighting the infection and sepsis. Has to go in every other day to reload the IV pump pack. There will be a follow up shortly with the surgeon to determine if there is sufficient improvement and tissue regeneration to keep her finger.
Dear Sister not happy at the moment, but at least she is still alive...(dear sister that is.)
We have a couple of appointments tomorrow and 5 days worth of sleep to catch up one in 9 hours tonight.
