The really bad stuff seems to have gone to the south. South Central Coast is getting hammered Multiple weather hazards and travel advisory currently in effect for Coos Bay South. They are saying that Port Orford and Brookings Harbor are very likely to see some damage. Good thing we won't be in that area until next Thursday or Friday.
" Infrastructure at Port Orford and Brookings could see damage from the waves. Stay away from any the ocean and any jetties during this event. Shock and hypothermia can occur quickly in the cold"

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Looks like the weather is starting to break a little. 39, some little breaks in the cloud cover with a 11 mph wind - with a few gusts, one reaching 35.

Zoo lights preview tonight as long as it doesn't start raining or snowing again. Forecast is looking favorable.

31° snowing and a little windy this morning. Planning on barbecuing a turkey on a rotisserie tomorrow, putting it in a brine this morning. It might be a little tough keeping the temperature constant if the wind is blowing.

Good morning Tim. I'm going to be deep frying two turkey's. Both of them will spend some time in the Smoker for a couple of pans of smoke first. One will be for the family dinner on the ranch/farm tomorrow and the other one will be for our trip Saturday - the "Storm Watchers Oregon Lighthouse Tour 2019".
