Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Foggy this morning.
We got home in time last evening to watch the Annual Christmas Parade. Not a big thing, we're a small town, but the kids and a few adults have fun.
Jim, Cape Blanco is a cool place. Wish I had more time to go camping however we are in between campers at the moment. Here is a preview of what's to come...

We are heading out for Newport tomorrow Andy. We'll be at the Hallmark Resort at the opposite end of the beaches. Staying in one of their top floor King Spa room. Started going over there many years ago for our anniversary. This year is #41.

Looks like a big live in waiting for a house to be built sort of thing. What type are you eyeballing?
Rich with that kind of camper you're not going to be able to take the boat too.
We have a bumper pull now so I haven't been able to drag the boat with us anyway. Might need to look into a rig that can tow 6-7K pounds so we can do both.... haha.

You got it. In anticipation to being homeless for 6-8 months we decided now would be the time to upgrade. Our current trailer doesn't have the storage to full time so wife ordered a Grand Design Reflection 337RLS. Should be enough room to full time and then use it as our "camper" after that. It's about as big as I wanted to go with the truck I have. We found a really nice used Solitude but it was just too big. New trailer is supposed to be here around Christmas. Just depends on the weather in the mid-west.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Survived the Doctors appointment, after they finally got the computer to display the correct files.
I think we have a bad sail valve on our furnace in the camper and I don't think the auto change propane regulator is working correctly. Have an appointment to get those checked and fixed on 12-26. In the meantime, I got the camper drained and winterized this afternoon.
Leaving tomorrow for our anniversary trip to the Hallmark Resort in Newport. We spend 3 nights a year in a motel and this is it. We treat ourselves to a Top Floor King Suite. Truth of the matter is that they have a Storm Watchers Special and the room is half price during the week. I knew there was a good reason why we got married in December!

Those are nice rigs Rich. A little long for some places we go, but I would think your pickup would handle it comfortably and without a bit of problem. Especially if the fiver has electric brakes on all wheels. The gross combined vehicle rating for my 2011 is around 30,000. I would think yours should be pretty close to that.
