Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 52.1 and wet. No rain today - yet - but with the heavy wet fog at tree top level it won't dry out. Weather guessers say we are going to try and catch up on our rainfall total again today.

Good morning everyone. Yesterday around noon there was one random lightning strike somewhere close enough to shake the house. Then it poured rain for 30 seconds and then stopped. Weird little storm pocket.

Made it back into DC today..... Went to Arlington. Took the bus tour around the cemetery.....
We were disappointed that some areas of the cemetery were closed.........

Then went to the Pentagon to see the 9/11 memorial........ It was closed due to construction going on with it........

Arlington was a somber and very sobering experience. President Taft memorial and JFK with the eternal flame, Civil War, the evolution of the Arlington House with Custis, George Washington and Robert E. Lee...a lot of US History there....
