Nice quiet location...... lots of room ! I bet this place is a Zoo in the summer....... right near the Beach and Ocean on one side of the narrow peninsula and the Cape fear inlet on the other side....... 44*F right now, 1550 hrs..... expected to be 62*F Christmas day..........
Christmas on the beach...... That will be different
Good Friday morning Andy, Sean and those to follow.
Seaside weather report:
Currently 53.6° 1.78 inches of rain in the bucket and a peak wind gust of 35.3mph.
A very early good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got home about 3 hours ago. All unpacked now.
Left the hotel this morning and spent the day watching the storm on the coast. Winds must have hit 80 to 90 mph at Yaquina Head. Strapped myself off to a fence to keep from being blown over and be able to take pictures.
Sea Foam was blowing all over like big chunks of snow....
Anyone care to go for a boat ride? Looks like fun Looks Exciting. OR NOT! Sea Foam - not Snow! Winds were blowing foam quite some distance and it was coating things just like snow would. Foam blowing through the air.
We had 3 inches of snow the other night then I warmed up and started raining the next day now its just warm 35°
Good morning Tim. Snow should make you feel really good and smile every time you look at your recently completed green house!

The coast looks like a fun place to be!
I thought it was. The Warden thought there were a couple of times that it could have been excessive and done without. She kept complaining that when I parked and went to take pictures, ("Play" as she terms it), the pickup rocked worse than the boat in rough water...
I was heartbroken when she wouldn't let me try to convince Bill to take me out on the surf training they were doing. (Not that he or the USCG OIC would have let me close to the boats anyway)
