Morning John, Evan, Jim and those to follow.
Jim just shows that they know nothing about guns and don't care to learn.
Idaho and Montana are looking better and better!!!
In all honesty, the bill says nothing about "revolvers" at all. Just some fake reporting by an Oregonian reporter who can not bother to research the material they are reporting on. I believe the section of the bill they are talking about deals with "0.22" tube feeds and lever action...
(B) A 0.22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device; or
(C) A tubular ammunition feeding device that is contained in a lever-action firearm.
Nope, if I move it's to get away from the Oregon political environment not to take it with me.
You are correct. No reason to have painful reminders of the home you grew up hunting and fishing in and that has been taken away from you. The Warden hails from Leadore, Idaho. Maybe we can find a little niche just a little north of there.
Need to get out and take advantage of this sunshine we have today and see how the new staples will work in the pneumatic stapler. Not the staples I wanted, but they should work.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got some panels in the cabinets tightened back down. Some of the cheap stapes they use were loosening up so I used some more cheap staple to tighten them back down. Also a little reinforcement with some clear non foaming Gorilla Glue.

Farm-Ranch, family, the VA Hospital and the Cascade Lakes, especially Diamond Lake/Crater Lake area are the only things keeping us here. Which I guess is quite a bit. I was born on the ranch - farm so there is the roots thing. The family (mothers side anyway) got here on covered wagons. I was fine moving to Winchester (Roseburg) as it was a 'short' drive home. On the other hand, as I said, the Warden is from Leadore and her mother was from Darby Mt. She still has family in those areas, although I'm not sure if they have signed the peace treaty yet. Pretty big war got started when her mother was so sick.
When I was doing the National Appaloosa Horse club thing, I spent a lot of time in Idaho and Montana, riding horses from Wallowa Lake to the Bear Paw Battle Field and scouting trails. There is some mighty fine hunting and fishing over there and I know a few people around St. Mary's, Deary and Moscow. Deary has an excellent greasy spoon in town. And a fellow I rode horses with and chased girls in Darby Mt., 'as kids', still has their family ranch just outside Deary. They have Moose up there.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 29.6° outside. Fire and hot coffee is good...
Heading out for the boat show at the Expo Center in 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Want to see if some of the slick spots will thaw out just a little.
Just going as a Lookie Loo John. The boat in the sig pic is "it" for the foreseeable future. Going to look at accessories and other goodies they might have there. You know, all the fun stuff that you don't need, don't want and never planned on getting, but somehow magically ends up in the trunk of the car for the trip home.
AND we are taking the car...NO trailer hitch. Pickup is too dangerous, it has a hitch on the back bumper, on the front bumper and a goose neck hitch in the bed. No way shape or form is it going to get close to the boat show!
