Belated good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got home a little bit ago. Went to Cabela's in Tualatin for the Club member loyalty night. Free dinner and a free hat. Then took some fish out to the farm for mother, sister and brother in law.
Cabela's used to have a Springfield M1A Loaded model 7.62X51 on the shelf. I used to have a whole bunch of Cabela's points that I have been saving up and zealously hoarding for the last 6 or 7 years. With the promotional club point multiplier, military discount and the normal 5% club points for Cabela's purchases, I came out just ahead of even. With the loyalty night multiplier on points, I should end up with around $280 in club points still in the bank.
The inspector! You just have to love it!
Nice!
I can store that with my original m1 inland division, or both of my original Saginaw division M1's.

Just sayin.
I wouldn't want it to get lonely
Thanks for the offer Charlie. However, it currently appears that it is fitting in with the others and getting along quite nicely with my General Motors - Inland Division and other Springfield's. The Korean War Veteran Springfield Garand was complaining a little, but it quieted down and I don't understand Korean anyway! I think it was a disagreement over beer brands. It was acting a little jealous after I told it the M&P10 LE was going deer hunting and it was staying home.………..
Looking mighty fine there Roy. Did the put you on the LCPO's detail?
I found a broken sewer line.
That is never a good thing to find. Let me guess, cast iron and in the tightest part of the crawl space, which of course is up to code at a minimum of 18"?

3" ABS at the furthest point for plumbing from the closet with the entry to the crawlspace and I can almost crawl hand and knees.
