Howdy Rich. I should be hunting as well. Instead I'm at home looking like Dick Vandyke in Mary Poppins! Complete field strip cleanout on the Pellet Stove and running a brush down the stove pipe. Had it done earlier in the year, but then the Warden informed me we needed to fire it up for an additional two weeks. Must have been late season wet pellets as they sure seemed to foul things up for just 2 weeks of use.
Road trip today to Mt Washington, NH...... Highest mountain in this region. State park on top and government scientists that observe and evaluated the weather 365 days a year..... We took a tour van to the top. Our truck was considered too big for the narrow road. 2 Years ago we made the trip on the Steam engine driven COG Railway... At that time we got to observe the inside of a cloud......

Morning all, 40 and some fog on the way in today. Did the first fire for the season last night. House was at 64 and the wife was looking a little blue so I broke down and lit the wood stove up.

Well, she didn't set fire to me, but after two coats and then going to the safe and retrieving the shotgun, I took her suggestion and little more seriously...
