Armed with the right part #s ,should be able to call up your friendly Ford dealer and ask if they have them.
2X. Call your local Ford Dealer and ask them if they have B8Q12171A and C9AZ12300A in stock. Or if they have a Motorcraft warehouse close by they can buy them from. Then sell to you. Note, the Genuine Ford (Motorcraft) ones are more expensive than the aftermarket junk. But you get what you pay for. Even the points. Ford's will have a points spring of the correct tension. And made out of a quality steel. Aftermarket......EH. Doubt it.
Tedster9 & JEFFAFA --- Well I was at my local Ford dealer to have an oil & filter change done to my wife's Explorer and I took the two numbers with me and stopped by the parts dept. They checked the two Ford/Motorcraft numbers, they are still good. They do not stock the points & condencer as they have few calls for them, but they can order them from the Motorcraft warehouse and have them in a few days. Thanks guys for the help. Tom
