If it was a brand new F150, it should have come with two. However, if you purchased it used, having only one key/fob is not uncommon so a trip to a local Ford dealer or a locksmith is your only choice.

F350 Super Duty SWB, turbo diesel.
We received our 3rd key in the mail on Friday. We were unable to find "intelligent access" programming instructions in our manual so we went with the instructions posted by Flyct. Nada. no luck. In the instructions posted by Flyct it mentions removing the "key blade from the first transmitter" Do you do this for all 3 transmitters? Were obviously doing something improperly. Could our new FOB be defective? How do you tell?
Hate to have to go to the dealer to have this programed. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Bill

I couldn't find the instructions in a manual I downloaded online but they were in the manual supplied with the truck. You have the Lariat Ultimate so you have what you need. I don't recall removing the key for all the transmitters, only the one being programmed, but that was a while ago. I also think the one being programmed was the last transmitter used in the process, not the first.
Unfortunately I don't have my truck's manual available or I would check that for you.

Looking at the instructions posted by Flyct they look correct.

Programming instructions are in the “Security” section of the printed and online manual.

I just went through this programming on my 2019 F350. It took me several attempts to get the sequence and timing right and finally it programmed. I ordered a FOB for a 2018 F350 and it worked fine on my 2019 Lariat Ultimate. The original FOB has a part number HC3T-15K1601-BC and the one I received has part number HC3T-15K1601-BB. The one I bought was a “refurbished” one

Some Tips.

1- Remove the key blanks from every FOB
2- After you get into your truck close the doors and WAIT UNTIL THE DASH DISPLAY GOES OUT.
3- Put the first original programmed FOB in the slot with buttons facing up
4- PUSH the engine start button with feet on the floor AND Count to 6 Mississippi at a normal pace
5- Push the engine start button
6- Remove the 1st original FOB and put the 2nd original programmed FOB in the tray
7- PUSH the engine start button with feet on the floor AND Count to 6 Mississippi at a normal pace You should get a display showing the door keycode on the dash display. You are in programming mode!
8- PUSH the Start button, Remove the 2nd original FOB and WAIT a good 5 seconds before putting the unprogrammed FOB in the tray then push the start button!
IF you are successful the truck doors will lock and unlock signifying your have programmed the new FOB!

Let us know how you do!

if it doesn’t work, OPEN AND CLOSE DRIVER DOOR, WAIT UNTIL DASH DISPLAY GOES OUT AND TRY AGAIN.

Update: I just left local Gilbert Ford in Okeechobee Florida. They cut the key blanks on my new F350 FOB and my 2018 Ford Focus FOB for FREE.

Last year Autonation Ford in Bradenton, Florida cut blanks that I provided for my 2016 F150XLT and my 2017 F350 for FREE.

I was prepared to pay but neither store wanted to bill me.

These little things buy customer goodwill.

Hi Everyone
I wanted to update all those who helped me try to program our "3rd" fob. It was a failed effort(s) as we had been sent the Fob for a F350 WITHOUT the rear tail gate release and remote start. They look VERY similar but are NOT interchangeable. Just won't work. We spent $82 to finally find this out after many hours of trying to program the Fob. Car and truck remotes has agreed to replace the Fob minus the key which has been cut to fit our truck. Hopefully it wont cost us another $82 to program the new Fob.
These Fobs are a PAIN IN THE A**
Regards
Bill
