Sounds like a dud injector to me. This is where it would be nice to have a breakout box to isolate the bad stick. Saying that, it never hurts to hot-torque the injectors - because you can see the engine run with the covers off, and watch for a problem oil flow from one of the injectors.
I'm in the injector camp as well. I would do a CCT, and pull an oil sample. If the oil sample looks metalic, there's no need to waste postage sending it to the lab.

i was on the fuel light when i took the above videos. got progressively worse (could even hear the fuel pump aerating KOEO) but went away entirely when i filled up the tank. suspect i have a broken/clogged pickup tube. guess its time to drop the tank and poke around.
