2017 Supercab with Sony system. I am thinking of upgrading my stock speakers to Infinities or something else. Not looking for more volume on the contrary I would like to have a nice low volume perfectly clear sound. Any suggestions? Or are the stockers (which don’t impress me that much) not worth upgrading? Note that I suffer from chronic tinnitus, thus the low volume.
Any of the super high end speaker are going to require an amp. What you're looking for is a mid level speaker with as high a sensitivity as you can find.

i concur with Tricon. I have hertz and love them. They are a little pricey but well worth it. I would also hook them up to an amp because they like power. You can still play them low volume but the more power they get the better they sound.
Also remove the rear sub buy some poly at Michaels for $5 and pack the sub. This helps.... improve the bass.
It's kinda cool how that works. The poly fibers vibrating heat up the air making it less dense, which in turn means your box appears larger than it actually is. Great for us since we don't have a lot of room like a trunk or SUV.
