Door Lock?
I have a 02 Lariat with power door locks and a key fob and I have a question, if you insert key in the drivers side door lock can you unlock all four doors with the key? I am sure mine used to do that but it doesn't anymore. My truck has something going on between the VSM and the Instrument Cluster but I don't think this is related.

I gotta 01 with VSM. My locks wouldnt work, coutesy light wouldnt come on and think a few other oddball things that werent jiving. Bought a vsm after testing all wires at the unit and then took over to dealer to program..works like it should now

I have an 02 Lariat 4 door, I cannot open all 4 doors with the key. Confirmed it today, only the door the key is in will open. Fob opens one or all four, with one push or two, natch.
And now I hijack this thread with cutlass drawn and parrot squawking!
I bought an amazoo garage door opener that operates differently. With the key fob for example, you press the button and the action occurs. But on this garage door opener the action occurs when you *release* the button. Drives me nuts. Anybody else seen this phenomenon?

That's the way my 2001 Lariat 4 door works. Oh... and if truck is running, Key Fob will not lock or unlock the doors, you have to use a key to unlock, if you locked the doors.

My garage opers broke, so it looks like a crime scene from the street..(hand prints pushing door up). My fobber unlocks/locks everything. Never did try key combinations to see if it unlocks all. I need to figure out how NOT to have door locks once goin down the road. Daughter tries to break handle opening it. Between that and wife slamming the doors closed, i cant figure out why shes born in a barn when home. Leaves everything open even with ac running or walking down hall, door open asking for sh#tpaper..lol
