I am happy where I am and what I am doing but could make a move for a supervisor job.
I installed the new belt and adjuster today. I also polished out the headlights and they look brand new, turned out better than I had hoped. Looked so good I did the ones on the suburban too. Tomorrow I start cleaning up the inside from me walking in and out of it.
Tried the scooter on the rack yesterday. A real pain to get it up there since the little ramp is so steep and nothing to hold the ramp to the rack. It fits but the scooter side is super close to the spare tire. Glad and to have all the maintenance done and makes me feel a little better that we won’t have any issues on the road.
Glad you are making progress. For the ramp can you extend it with a 2x6 to hold it 8n place drill a hole and drop a bolt in it.
I was using the brush cutter out at the land yesterday. One part is actually starting to loom somewhat like a yard
The coach is officially ready to go!!
I washed the walls, swept and mopped and waxed the floors. Drained the bleach water out of the fresh water tank and flushed it out real good. Put about 10 gallons of water into the black tank. Waxed the hub caps and put shiny stuff on the tires. Double checked the air conditioners, water heater and stove to make sure they all still work. I don't need any surprises right before we get ready to leave.

the surprises happen on the trip. A guy told me once what RV acutally stands for Ruined Vaction
I heard someone once say the only thing that works on an RV is the owner!
I know i have been working my butt off on it but it looks great and I feel better getting everything serviced. The only thing left is getting the aux brake kit installed but it seems pretty easy. Little man is going to have a blast so it will be so worth it in the end.
Seems like every trip we were on I ended up fixing something
As long as I don't break down on the side of the road anything else I can deal with.
Can't wait to check out the aux break kit tonight. Ut looks like the only thing I have to install is the breakaway sensor, everything else is wireless.
Little man was my shadow all day yesterday, he woke up asking for daddy.

you do have roadside assistance? My son was like that. Now he own his own company at 38
my sawmill will be ready on thr 7th. Will leave here on the 6th.
Yes I have roadside assistance but my wife would freak if we broke down, I drove it from Columbus and then the little shake down run a few weeks ago so I am positive we will be just fine. .She would not go camping in the old Winnebago we had, it always had an issue every time I drove it.
Just about have another transmission out, man these things make me hurt, especially my knees. Swing transmission already in my bay, swap some lines and it goes right back in.
Aux brake kit came in today and the screen on the command center was broken, I called them and I had a confirmation email that they were sending another one out before I even got off the phone!

Dang It!!
you sure it not your cell phone? Glad to hear about good customer service. You could use it to get everything positioned and hooked up then replace it with tge new one
I put my phone in a life case the day I bought it, like 3 years ago. You take the case off and it still looks brand new. My last phone looked like that when I ran it over with the Lightning!!
The screen is real bad, I turned it on and you can't see anything on it but a few colored lines. It is packaged pretty good to so it's just crazy. We have a little over 2 weeks to get it all sorted out.
I need to get my clientele of customers up to classics and collision. 2 to 5 cars a month with my partner and we could break even on our normal salaries. And thats collision. Add in an open check book restoration where we ***** to wall restore and refinish it, thats easily a great *** living. but its finding the right people, customers, companies....
