Have you tried holding the gas to the floor?

Most of the time its just a mile trip from my house to the gas station, last time it was at the 1 hour mark on a trip. Yes it seems that holding the gas to the floor helped last time, but why?

And, maybe the choke needs adjustment. Has the weather where you live just taken a change towards being cooler?

That 1 mile trip is not good for the truck as it hardly has time to get up to temp both motor & running gear to boil off condensation.
Also the choke may still. should not, be on.

Now for that 1 hour trip. It sounds like maybe the gas it the carb float bowl is either leaking into the intake or is being boiled out of the carb.
With out going back thru 4 pages has the carb been rebuilt lately? If not may be time for it.
I would remove the air filter assy. and plug off any vacuum hoses you have to disconnected as we are going to run the motor to check some things.

Motor cold and did not hit the gas pedal is the choke open or closed?
Now hit the pedal, did the choke closed?

Go out for a drive and get everything up to temp. When you stop do it some place where you can check the carb out again.
Is the choke open or closed?
When you first shut the motor down using a flash light give a look down inside the carb. If the choke is not open, open it to look inside. Do you see any fuel dripping down inside?
Any leaks on the out side?

After 5 min. give a look down inside again for any fuel dripping and again say after 10 min.
Before you start the motor looking down inside move the throttle did you see any fuel squirt?
Not touching the choke move the throttle again, did the choke close?

About all I can think of checking when hot.
Well maybe look for spark when it will not start.
