Wiper Blades

Anybody have recommendations for good wiper blades? Or a way to keep them from squeaking?

AMCO 14 inch. Rub an apple core on the rubber for squeaks and you could also try Raindance. Sorry Guys wrong forum.

I put new winter blades on each Fall and leave them on all year. Usually Anco I think.

Replace them often. I’ve paid for all the different price points and none seem to last me more than a few months. I haven’t had issues with squeeking, but getting cuts and streaking. After paying $50 for my last set, I decided to just buy a handful of the cheap wipers at Costco during their last sale. Got six for something like $4/ea. Now I’ll just replace one at a time, when they fail.

I have been installing Bosch Wiper Bldes, a bit pricey, but they hold up best in this Texas heat!

I’ve tried them all, even the pricey PIAAs. Nothing worked better or lasted longer than the OEM factory equipped blades. I’m not sure if the dealer parts dept sells the same ones.

The PIAAs were great until they were about a year old, then they started chattering real bad. Michelins from Walmart were no good after a month, same with RainX latitudes. Bosch Icons are doing okay so far at 5 months.

I'm leaning towards the Bosch Icons. The original OEM blades are the ones I am looking to replace. I've never really liked them (squeaky) but now they are about 9 months old and I guess they sat on the lot for a while before I bought the truck.

None of then last long when they sit in the sun all day. It’s amazing how hot a windshield can get. Take a damp rag to one in the midafternoon sun.

Of all the different brands I've tried, I've found the OEM blades to be by far the best and last much longer then others I've tried. The original set lasted 2 years and I just replaced them this past fall, surviving thru winter and up to now, and they are flawless so far. I expect them to last as long as the original set.

Soak them in 303 for a day before you put them on....wipe them with 303 when you wash your truck...

How do you do that? You got a container that is long and thin and shallow enough to avoid using a whole bottle on a pair of wiper blades? How long do you soak them?

Yep, I saw that video. I needed to buy some wipers for my Honda and kept the package for the soak. I bought a gallon of 303 off Amazon and pour the used out the tray into a cleaned out sealable jar to use again.
I also is great on tires, dash, I feel it's one of the best products available in a very crowded field... Good Luck.
