I went through 4 or 5 sets of wiper blades in under a year when I first bought by truck. It seems that the curved windshield on the current gen f150's causes the wipers to skip across the windshield making that horrible noise that you can feel right into the steering wheel. After trying several different sizes and brands / types of wiper the only set so far that has made it any length of time at all without skipping is the Bosh Icon 19" wiper blades. There is a Rainx bracket less design as well and although they look similar, they only lasted a couple of weeks before skipping across the windshield just like the rest. I was really relieved when the Bosh wipers worked as they were the last set out there that I thought might work to solve the problem. It turns out they are the most expensive as well. Well worth it for me to avoid the aggravation but its still a bit of a shock going from paying $7 a blade to over $20 depending on sales.
I like the michelin wipers....and they're only like 8 bucks a piece
michelin makes a high end blade wiper...that thing is pure crap. it doesn't have any support other than the center section. from the day I bought 'em they've skipped over the windshield
I've had good luck with the rainx wipers. I usually end up changing blades out every 2 months though regardless of brand
