It just kills me when we are driving together and I see one and I know I can't get it!!!
I'm the guy who neurotically avoids bungee cords on the highway. My wife and MIL ran over one of the old-fashioned rubber bungee cords once on the highway. The hook punctured the right front tire and turned the entire bungee cord into a fast-moving buzz saw that proceeded to literally rip the passenger side mirror off the car and do thousands of dollars in body and paint damage to her car even before she could get the car off the road and stopped. I think about that every time I see one, and I always focus on that hook and avoid it.

Wow, that's terrible.

Well Doc, just think of me as the guy that is trying to get those nasty hooks and stretchy things off the highway.

did any of you see the video of what happened to a car that ran over a mattress?

Yeah, that's because a mm socket has no use on an old Ford!
