Ford 4.9L inline 6 timing marks

Ford 4.9L inline 6 timing marks
My '85 inline 6 has 3 marks on the flywheel. A large, florescent green mark, a tiny white dot, and a notch in the fly wheel. What are each of these marks? When setting the timing, which one do I line up with the yellow mark? I think when I was timing it previously, someone told me the timing mark was actually the barely noticeable white dot and not the large green mark. I have been having trouble knowing which mark to use when setting the timing and am curious as to what each of these marks mean.

On mine it's the notch on the harmonic balancer.
