help!

my truck jerks when I go on interstate or go up an hill, Whats wrong with it?

My first suspect would be the fuel filter.

by "jerk" I would guess you mean stumble or buck... Most common problem is probably a misfire due to a bad coil (COP)... is there a little yellow CODE light lit on the dash ? IF so, you need to go to Auto Zone or other and have them read the CODE for free... then post here what that CODE is and we will tell you what the problem probably is

Classic misfires

When loaded or on overdrive misfires show up . You need plugs and new boots . You may have a failed coil on plug . Get codes downloaded at auto zone to see which ones . replace with real good quality . Aftermarket ones can damage your computer and are not reliable . You can clean all cop contacts real good as factory cops rarely fail .
If original plugs you may need to have lisle extraction tool on hand first . Read up on original plugs snapping off .
