PO300 code
I have a 98 4.6L and check engine lite came on. Had it checked and was PO300--random/multiple cylinder misfire detected. Autozone said probably had a coil pack going bad but could not tell which one. Reset lite and has not came back on yet. Has anyone had this problem and if so is there any aftermarket coil packs or should I stick with Ford Parts....any help would be big help Thanks.

I had the same code and was told by autozone that it was the plugs. After fighting to change the back passenger side plug most of the afternoon the light came on again within a week. Invest in a good set of plug wires along with the plugs.

PO300 code
I also had a code the other day that autozone gave "P1509 dealer specific". When I called the dealer the service manager said he couldn't tell without hookin it up to the computer. Anyone have any idea what this code is.
