High end speaker system

Getting my system together for the truck. Door speakers just arrived. 2000.00 bucks worth of speakers rights here.

Subed.....As a former SPL nut I would enjoy to see an SQL F250 back in the day I had 2 sets of rainbows..... Nice focals btw.

Oooh KX2's? I had those in my last truck, they are amazing speakers. Put about 150w RMS to em and they will just sing. What AMPs are you going with? Plans for subs...give us some details man!

Check out my thread on my Complete Interior Removal for Stereo. I'll have about $20k in equipment tied up in my SQ system when complete.

OK, so now I'm confused.

Are you and Chris the same person? Is he buying speakers to install in your truck? Are you doing the install in his truck?

Doesn't really matter, lovin' your install!

using the new JL Audio vxi 1000/5 with built in dsp. I will have then build a custom box under the seat with 2 jl tw3.

I went with the Infinity Kappa Perfect 600's this go around. Paired them with a MiniDSP 2x4HD, for $600 I'm super impressed with them.

Very nice. Please document and post your install as it comes along. Once I have the free time, I'll be installing some Hertz Mille Pros components in my front doors, Mille coax in the rear doors, a JL Audio 13tw5v2 in a custom box behind the rear seat, a JL HD900/5 to power everything and a Rockford Fosgate DSR-1 to link everything up. Should be a fun system once it's done.
