I have this box from Supercrewsound.com. It arrived with the notches cut out in the wrong location. Supercrew offered to fix or replace it. Had a local shop fix that instead of waiting and hoping they got it right. The bottom seat no longer folds up all the way. Most importantly I have a $600 sub and $250 box that sounds like garbage.
Why does the sub sound like garbage? Do you think it is because of the box's build quality, porting or geometry? Curious as that is the sub I am soon about to build a box for so that it goes behind my seat.
Look awesome Chris and that sub enclosure is very nice.
Do you think the installer or the shop who built your enclosure would mind if you post their contact info because that`s the exact type of enclosure I want for my 2016 F150 SuperCrew but using two 10" TW3`s. The cabs are the same on these vehicles so fitment will be the same.
Hey real quick question to OP or anyone who's swapped out the door speakers yet.
Is there any clearance issues with speaker adapters? I usually cut my own speaker rings, but the last set I made on my 6.4 I ended up sitting on the planer taking down alot of material to be able to get the door panels on. Any measurements on the thickness of the rings you're using?
in order to keep a portion of the factory plastic tray for storage, the custom sub enclosure has to be bolted in as well as some trimming done to one side of the plastic tray while it's in place in the vehicle. For this reason this enclosure is custom and cannot be made and shipped out to others unfortunately.
The fab guy spent a good part of the day working on my enclosure. It will be finished and installed tomorrow along with the 13TW5 - system is nearly done.
