Verify the connector at the camera is actually plugged in. It connects inside the housing, so it's a little wierd to make the connection.. not hard, just weird.
Other than pushing until it clicks and then pulling back to make sure it is solid, what can you do?
So I’ve given this more thought. If the trailer install folks disassembled the camera end harness (to pass the wires through a smaller hole and or grommet )....perhaps just one of the pins are not making contact or worse not in the right order. You could try pushing with a blunt tool on each pin to ensure their seated. As well apply some lithium grease.
The only question then is how would I know if they got the pins in the wrong place. I think it is unlikely that they would have dismatled that end, more likely the did the other end. I will check for a splice.

There won’t be a splice. Those pins within the harness can be removed without cutting etc. There is specs out there on the wires I just don’t know how to find them. There definitely shouldn’t be any wires cut unless you authorized it (make shorter then 40’)
SmokieO...
you ever get your trailer camera sorted out.
Nope. I have had it to the dealer twice and no results. It appears that no one at Ford knows anything about the issue. They have supposedly ordered a warranty replacement, but who knows
where that will go.

ive now got my truck and the camera/ TPMS kit. Unfortunately my trailer is now gone for warranty work. I can however look at all the components and look under the truck and take photos if you’d like. Might help.

Thanks Bill. I have pretty well narrowed it down to a defective harness or camera, or possible an issue with programming on the truck. All connections are verified as correct.
