Level or not ?

Why wouldn't you level the truck? Other than aerodynamics what is a benefit to having nose lower. Does leveling truck effect handling and ride? Why not level it looks much better.

I think if you put some weight in the bed and drive around at night you would see the difference in the two trucks. At least the oncoming cars would let you know.

For me I wouldn’t. I don’t plan on upsizing my tires, and I personally just like the look a truck with a rake to it, always have.

I didn't have a choice as I wanted to park my F350 in my garage. I was about an inch too tall in the back with the canopy mounted.

If you tow heavy fiver, don't you want some rake? When you set the heavy pin weight on that hitch the rear will drop right? Otherwise you'd be nose high when you tow.

Pure aesthetics for me. I have a 2.5" level so it still leaves a slight rake for towing. I tow a smaller sized toy hauler...about #7800 max so I am fine. Eventually I will increase tire size to a lt295/70r18. Nothing wild, but I really don't like the stock rake.

Agree. Dislike the rake; its a pure aesthetics issue. If you tow heavy, get some air bags.

On my 17 F350, my towing indicator empty says a 0 degree angle. After I hook up my 39', 13K dry-weight fiver, I still show 0 degrees.

My truck drops 3", and remains level.

If you parked your nose-high truck & trailer on a slight slope, the off-road status screen would indicate 0 degrees.

Sure it looks "better" and it allows for some bigger shoes therefore more ground clearance which is fine if you need it. But then it's not like anyone really wheels one of these trucks so it's nothing more than cosmetics. If you use your truck to haul any weight then your *** will be dragging and then you'll look like an F150 with a sack of groceries in the bed.

In the winter I will haul a ton of pellets every 4-6 weeks in the very back of the bed and the truck will sit level. I load my little slide in camper and I only squat about an inch which is perfect. I hook up the travel trailer and the truck sits level. If the truck didn't have any rake I'd need to add air bags to get it to sit right. The truck works great off the show room floor and seems plenty tall as is. Maybe it's age or experience but after modifying the last couple rigs I've had with a lift or level kit....meh... this truck is fine and works as is.

"Not" for me. It's fine just the way it is.

Agreed. The massive rake on these trucks stock looks hokey to me. Just slap some air bags in when you tow heavy, and look good level when you arent.

Its all personal anyways.
