Does anyone have a link where I can print off an owner's manual for my trailer mounted back up camera?
Also, I just picked up my trailer from the trailer builder. They mounted and wired the camera system, but it doesn't work. When I push the auxiliary camera button, it shows an icon of a camera with a line through it ( as if to say no camera installed). Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to trouble shoot it?
Only works when you put in reverse, I don't know if you're aware of that
also even ford technicians tried hookin it up using the tailgate wires. Make sure you look to see if they hooked it up to the harness that sits above the spare tire.

I dropped the spare and there was nothing directly above it. I found a harness and unused plug in front and above the spare zip tied on the frame. It appeared to be the only unused plug there and it fit the other end.
I believe 12 pin. I drove back to Texas from Phoenix with it, just crawled under the truck and the trailer both and can't find any loose connections. No idea why it won't work.
Plug that into the rear of the harness ( part of the 7 was pin on the bumper)
I removed the old 7 round/4 flat plug in from the bumper and connected the new one to the plugs on the truck, checked both to make sure they were fully connected.

so just to be clear you’ve now hooked up the harness you found ( zip tied to the frame ) and your camera still doesn’t work.
David Smiley did a video on you tube. Maybe that will help. Can’t remem if you need to make any settings in The advanced settings. Don’t think so. Sorry man not much I can do from here in Canada.
