Morning Pat, and all to follow. 31 at the compound as I left. Have some running around after work to get done. Hoping to finish that quick so I can do some electrical projects later.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 33° and scattered overcast that now is starting to lean towards a solid overcast. We've been hovering at 32-33 since early this morning.

Afternoon everyone! Sorry I haven’t dropped in, its been a little crazy this side of the hill.
hey, does anyone lnow where I might find a website or anything to figure out what alternator I have and what amps it is? My voltage regulator went to crap so I need to figure out which to buy so I don’t do too much damage.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got some sunshine here this afternoon.
Hey Chris, did you 'survive' your Tsunami?

Don't remember the particulars of your vehicle, but early being 90's I suspect a 75 amp or 95 amp. If you go to O'Reilly, Autozoo, NAPA or Ford Parts, Official Ford Parts Site | Buy Motorcraft & OEM Ford Parts Online | FordParts.com you can probably find out. You need your VIN handy to get the best results, especially at the Ford Parts site.
As to the voltage regulator, I think you only have a choice of a couple for regular vehicle packages and one for the ambulance package if you have that - and I doubt you do. They all have their own unique appearance or mount holes so you should be able to match it without too much trouble.

Yes, I can get the vin first thing in the morning and find out. Somone else said that the 95 amp has 4 bolts and the 130 amp has 2, does that sound about right?

I think the 75 has two and the 95 had 3. I believe the 130 amp was an option only on the ambulance (heavy duty electronics) package - unless you have a diesel then I believe it is a 3 bolt 130 amp.
If your after the regulator though, those are pretty specific and you should be able to easily match it up to the part you have in hand.
Just to make tomorrows work simpler, where abouts is the regulator located, and is there anything extra I have to take off to get to it?
Match it up, is there a stock number that’ll still line up with a new one?
Good evening Oregon and Visitors.
Jim, yes we survived the Tsunami. Someone reprogrammed the buttons and didn't share the new codes.
Justin, I have a 130amp 3g alternator in my 89 it's a two hole and the regulator is on the back of the alternator.
