Spent the afternoon chasing a deer in circles around the brush in the lower west horse pasture today. Brush has grown up really bad in the Oak Savanah since we quit running goats and cattle down there. 15 yards from the deer and I could see 2 legs and its belly. Never saw the head. Got several glimpse of it as we played Ring around the Rosie with me getting cut up on the briars. Then there was the Poison Oak. Good thing I don't react to it.

I've seen deer up on the mountain, but only after shooting hours heading back to the pavement. No bucks. Have no idea what sex the deer I was chasing around yesterday was.
Won't be able to do anything tomorrow. We're taking my mother to the Aquarium in Newport tomorrow and then out to Nana's Irish Pub for late lunch or early dinner.
Have to go to a Halloween Party tonight - (oh joy!).
