Cracker Barrel restaurant

Many thanks to those that have posted comments about Cracker Barrel. I apologize I can't search with my phone to give credit. Being from Canada we don't have Cracker Barrel so we are in Daytona Beach for Christmas and Inoticed a Cracker Barrel as we were driving past. A hard right and one close call and we were there.
Fantastic supper and the store was great. All the stuff i wanted was on sale for 50% off. Got a mug for my uncle with a 55, 2 decks of cards, and the 100 years of ford trucks book and a johndeere hoodie all for a grand total of $31. Wow.

Awesome
I'm glad you were able to fit in a stop at Cracker Barrel on your travels. They have decent food and always have some interesting stuff in the store.

Man, the Cracker Barrel near me must not be doing something right. It’s got some of the worst food in the area. We’ve gone to a couple of Cracker Barrels in other states before the one here was built for breakfast and they were OK, kind of hard to screw up eggs and toast. When they built the one here we stopped in because the parking lot was always filled and thought they must be offering good food. We’ve gone 2-3 times over a five year period and every time the food was bad and the service wasn’t any better. I will always give a restaurant a few tries before I give them a bad review because things could be off one night but this place is consistently bad.

That's too bad about your local Cracker Barrel. Before you give up on them go on a Sunday and get their fried chicken special... great chicken!

Or the Haddock, it's kinda hidden on the menu but it's one of my favorite fish dinners. JB

I doubt if I could get my wife to go there again but you never know.

To get back to being truck related, CB seems to have old truck related merchandise that gets our attention. If nothing else a regular trip to their store might be worth it to just what they have to offer. We all seem to like decorating with truck swag.

We know that Cracker Barrel on Speedway Blvd. well. We go to the Rolex 24-hour race in Daytona every year, next month will be our 11th race. The Cracker Barrel is our go-to place on Monday morning. I learned to like those restaurants when I lived in Virginia, and now you've convinced me I need to save some $ to buy stuff at that store in Daytona on our trip next month.
