Okay I read someplace that the small block chevy header could be cut and would work for the y block in our trucks, has anybody heard or tried this. I see a cheap set on CL and when I do the basic look see that the middle 2 tubes would need to be spread so it would involve splice and dice. I'm thinking on seeing if it will work.

 

You might get a cheap one-piece Chevy header gasket and see how close they are.

I've often wondered about a V-6 header for a flathead.

 

I was going to do just that with the gasket and see how close size and position is. I can work around cut and bend a little I think but I need to see.
