OFF TOPIC ;o(
A good friend of mine passed away tonight. He was a good friend, a good man, a good husband to his wife of many years, and a great father to his kids. Its sad sometimes to see those we care about, leave us. But I guess its parts of life. Doesn't mean we have to like it I guess. I first met him many years ago and spent many, many months with him, in jungles on the other side of the world. Good or bad, doing what we at the time thought was the right thing to do. He passed away while watching a video we had playing for him. He had tears in his eyes and a slight smile on his face. He will be missed.
Here is the video his son had set up for him to watch. If its permitted, I'd like to share it. Some times we loose sight of what we have here in this country and what it took to achieve it.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I went a funeral today for my best friends father who was also a good friend of mine. Death is a part of life, it's sad but it's true and there's nothing we can do besides keep them alive in our memories. Ive never met you nor do I even know your first name but I'll keep you in prayers.

Thanks for sharing.....we all need to slow down and truly appreciate what we have and what we are blessed with.........friends and family are the most important, please find comfort in all that we have, I feel for your loss, m.
