Help! We are driving to Florida and my Dad wants to use the split screen nav! When we first turned on navigation one said showed the reguar map and the other side showed a very zoomed in map showing exactly where to turn..now on the one side it' the regular map but we cannot figure out how to get the other map. We get turn directions, radio info, etc but not what we are looking for.

 

Not sure exactly what you're seeing. But the Home button in the upper left corner will split the screen between with the map on one side and the radio/connected phone shown on the other side on my truck.
Just punching the Navigation icon at the bottom brings up the full screen map. Audio brings up the full screen radio display.

 

Go to settings... the gear symbol. Pick nav settings. There you can pick views.
keep in mind, the immediate turn info on the right only comes up as the turn approaches.

 

^^ This... I haven't used it much myself, since I usually connect via Apple CarPlay instead and use the Apple Maps function instead.
