T50 socket - which I have. No problem removing it from the truck. The bolt is so tight in the bracket hole that I can't back the bolt out to put on a new bushing. Both door brackets are the same - removable from the truck but the bolts are impossible to back out of the bracket. They spin freely on the bolt shoulder but will not pass the threaded portion. I have a f250 from the same year with no problem replacing the bushings when they fail.
One guy recently said he puts a piece of tubing on as a bushing without removing the striker. I said a piece of heat shrink tubing over it might work well. He said I may have anger management issues.
I go to a junkyard every couple years or a couple times a year if I am catching up on vehicle work. I grab strikers at the junkyard.
If I ever replaced the plastic on one it was a long time ago. If am not sure it was intended to work that way. ??
You have to unscrew it thru the bracket and you will need to apply some pressure to get it started. If you just cannot get it to go then buy they whole thing from Dorman. Take the plastic washer off first before you try.
