I just hooked my bed light of the the pigtail on both sides on
the frame for elc running boards they work from the cargo light or door and fob door unlock. I spent maybe 30 mins on the install
Just wanted to thank all who contributed to this thread. I was able to upgrade my 2021 STX F250 just fine.
I took a different path and worked with my local dealer to get the updated harnesses from Ford. The write up for the custom harness with the connectors was real valuable as I nearly ordered from Digikey the necessary connectors to do it myself. However, I was pushed for time and when I get rushed I make mistakes . The Ford Harness was well engineered and the thing I liked is how every attachment point on the frame had a nylon rivet waiting on the harness to go into. Dropping the spare tire made it an easy Sunday Morning project. The boy had fun participating.
If anyone wants to go the factory OEM route the part numbers have changed and this is what worked for my Truck:
Lamps: JL3Z-13A756-A
Switch: FL3Z-9C888-B
Main tail light Harness: LC3Z-13A409-L
Driver Side Light/switch Harness: LC3Z-13K371-A
Passenger Side Light Harness: LC3Z-13K371-B
Again, My truck was a 2021 F250, STX, Short Bed, Crew Cab, No LED tail lights, NO BLISS.
Fun Project, the boy had a good time helping put the taillights back on.

if you don’t mind sharing what did the part end up costing? I really need this as well.
Thank you for the detailed information. I ordered the new crossover harness and installed it along with the other parts. Changed the BCM settings using Forscan and everything worked great. Thank you for all your research.
