Clearance Light Installation - Yes or No?
I've owned my 2008 F250 for about nine months now and love it more everyday. I'm a big guy (6' 9") and have never owned a vehicle that truly felt like it fit me. This truck does.
That said, my truck doesn't have clearance lights; I can't imagine why they're really needed but I like the look of them. What all's involved with adding them to my truck? I'm assuming the wiring harness already exists in the roof from the factory; surely the OEM harnesses weren't different between trucks as they rolled off the assembly line so it ought to be there. What advice or experience do you have with doing this? I'm not comfortable with drilling holes in the roof unless there are/were specific characteristics built into the body for doing so.
Thanks in advance!

I did it myself. I documented it in this thread.
