+1 on the purpose of the "louver". Just an anti-rotation method.

Better to have at least some load, any load, than no load.

Spinning around unloaded "can" cause problems.

Mine always has a box fan attached when running, both for a load and just a little extra cooling.

I don't understand things like this. How hard, or how much extra time would it have taken the guy from Dewey Pest Control to put the sticker on correctly?!

Yeah, they came around a year ago stealing business from Teminex by undercutting price. We get what we pay for, but I'm not sure the Terminex guys' sticker was any straighter nor more legible.
