Leave it to California to get you when you are coming and going.

After reading this, I'm kinda screwed; need to pay for a years worth of CA registration of which I'll use a months worth (my CA tags expire this month). That must be what they call the CA exit tax.
Howdy Sean!

Sorry to mislead you new residence length of time before registering an out of State vehicle. 30 days, that has changed within the last few years.

Length of time before?

It says that you have 30 days to register a vehicle, which means asap.

You aren't missing much.
It was cooling off for a bit, now it's not so cool.

Put the Ex and trailer in a temporary storage unit until we move in. 80 helped unload both cars. First time I've seen him in long pants since he was a toddler.

Somewhere I lost the front grill oval .

Got 80 signed up with Troop 33. He's enjoying middle school here. (Says it's much easier ).

I've been remiss in not sharing the new digs.

Beautiful home!

Twice as much house, for half as much money. Nice upgrade.

Missy and I were thinking with the 1/2 acre lot, it's 1/4th the price for the same in Camarillo plus a (roughly) 60'x30'x8' deep unfinished, heated basement (not counted in sqft calc here).

Holy hell thats a nice house. I think 1/4 is shy, 1.2 million here? That would be cheap.

You are going to need some motorized remotely controlled window coverings for those upper windows. A solar panel can charge the batteries so you dont have to run power.

Great pics Keith.

Will look into that Jon, good idea.

Was keeping an eye out for Native American sites as I wandered across.

Good price for RUL. But they sure are proud of that premium. I don't think I've ever seen a 60 cent difference. I wonder if that is a government incentive of some kind? Or just market force?

Oh, wait, that's Costco. They can do their own thing I suppose.

That's a good 20c cheaper than anywhere else, why not jack up Premium a little to cover the loss?
