Is ATFQT the same thing ?
The only significant difference is in price.

Thanks for all your help guys!!! What an awesome community!

I have been doing tons of research on this topic. It looks like lots of folks use Valvoline Max Life ATF. Do you guys have an opinions on this product ? It seems to be more cost effective than the Amsoil products. Considering im going to be flushing the system, I wonder if this product would be more cost effective.

On a side note, since im doing all of this, I orderd the 2008 Pan and the improved paper filter.

I'm about to do this on the 5R110 Torqueshift and was wondering is the drain plug in the pan has a crush washer like the engine oil drain plug.

I was at the dealer today picking up FT-145 filter and seal - their diagrams showed no such part. No o-ring or crush washer on the transmission drain plug.

Should I just use some teflon tape on the plug when I put it back in?

Do NOT put Teflon tape on the drain plug! If a small sliver of Teflon comes off it can get into a valve or solenoid and cause a rebuild.

So just put it back in, tighten to 20ft-lb like the engine oil drain plug and hope it doesn't leak I guess.

Sounds good except for the 'hope' part.
