Ah, thank you. Bummer though....I don't have the Sony system. The non-Sony system is even worse.
Not having the Sony system makes it easier to install. Just have to splice into the stock high-level speaker outputs and run them through a DSP and then amp. No Need for the Maestro at all.

You don't even really need a DSP. DSP is really helpful to get rid of the crap Sony signal processing. There is no signal processing with the non-sony system so you can just run your line-ins to the high level input on your amp and you're ready to rock.
Not sure if this will work on the Superduty, but I used this to spice into my 2015 F150 Lariat with MFT and it worked great. Did not have to cut a single factory wire.
Congrats!!
VERRRY interested to see if the Maestro has any drawbacks.
Please do a post install review AND let us know any issues the installer ran into.
THANK YOU!!

I'm about 3 hours from Dallas - please let us know what you think about the installation and the company you used once you've had time to test it! Thanks you!
No outside noise here with KR. This is speculation but I believe the KR and PL have more insulation. I am perfectly happy with my stock radio and sound system.

Not true, they are all identical behind the body panel, just more options on the KR or Plat. Some people just have more discerning ears I guess. I don't know anyone that's happy with the stock sound system if they have ever had a "real" sound system, or they are some level of audiophile. Its just a preference thing. Some have to have above normal sound, some don't care and are perfectly happy with mediocre.
I don't have the sony system. Cant speculate on it. I can say that the regular system is beyond weak and the adjustments are minimal. My mod budget is decimated right now as things just keep piling up. The stereo upgrades will have to wait. Ill say this though... that mini subwoofer looks perfect. I need something that will be invisible. If it fits behind the seat on a supercab (space I don't use anyway) then its perfect. The other question is where does the amp go?
