What is this? Looks like oil and water, or oil and coolant- from the one leaking cup? I don't have any in my reservoir...at least I didn't a few weeks ago.
It is early and everyday that goes by my eyes get a bit worse, but I don't see any blemishes or damage to the o-rings based on the pictures. I am sure if I were standing next to you in the garage I would see what you are seeing though.
Definitely a bad seal on the cup, as you already know. If it were me, I would not install the Dorman cups if you can help it.
If I were in your situation and presumably on a tight budget, I would replace all of the o-rings with Alliant, the bad cups with Alliant and put the stock injectors back in. Although, if you have $2000 to spend, look at getting some new injectors.
I've only helped do cups once and we bought them from Ford.
As as far as injectors are concerned. How about sending them to Jim at Rosewood Diesel to get flow tested. I would hate to see you have to tear into her again when you should be enjoying your camping trips. Your starting to have as much luck as Tugly did a few years ago.
